ogden’s only arcade bar.

Here’s the story of how the L.A.B. came to be. In a nutshell: Interest turned to Hobby, Hobby to Past-time, Past-time to Harmless Addiction, Harmless Addiction to Business, and Business to a Thriving Community!
A few years ago, Nate, our founder, got a wild hair and decided to buy a pinball machine with some extra cash he’d squirreled away. The entire family was instantly hooked and many hours were spent gaming out. It wasn’t long before big neon signs saying PINBALL drew them to arcades any time they got the opportunity. Nate visited Quarters Arcade Bar and knew, he was going to start a similar business someday (we want to be like them when we grow up) It wasn’t long before Nate and family got a hefty collection of machines and started hosting local get-togethers of diehard “Pinheads” for tournaments and hangouts. The local Salt Lake Area Pinballers accepted the degenerate pinheads with open arms.
Then COVID hit. Nate said “Fuck it, I’m going to start a business” in March of 2020. A few days later, Nate was renting machines to customers in their homes and businesses and the business grew. He met customers from Logan to Saint George, traveled for tournaments all over the country and continued to work diligently to grow the local pinball community.
After a few years of grinding, many tournaments, and some wear and tear, Nate, Family and Friends decided to plant their flag in Ogden and work to open their doors. Lots of blood, sweat, and tears, and a ton of Favors and massive amounts of luck, and the dream of creating their own arcade bar, had finally come true.
Founded the 19th of November 2022, The L.A.B. opened it’s doors to Ogden on Washington BLVD and was instantly a hit, selling out of all their beer opening weekend.
With a full liquor license, a strong following of dedicated friends and enthusiasts, and a growing population in Ogden (pretty awesome town btw) The L.A.B. continues to grow and and integrate into the thriving community of Ogden.
Now that we are off and running, we do wild stuff like wrestling shows, occasionally live music, sexy men of pinball photoshoots, foosball tournaments, Santa Run, Karaoke, Bar Crawls, Trivia, MTG, Mariokart and Smash Bros tournaments and of course, Pinball tournaments of all shapes and sizes. We strive to be the intersection of all things NERD and are open to try anything once.
Give us a try and come and find your tribe.

What an awesome place! Clean and friendly, they have an area with couches, a coffee table, and an old N64 that feels very much like your best friend's basement. We Got to revisit our childhood dreams of being skiball champions and owning a pinball machine. We'll be back
